Our Environmental Policy

As TET International, we are aware of our environmental responsibilities. We apply methods that aim to prevent or reduce any possible negative impact on the environment and the nature around us that could result from any of our activities throughout our supply chain from sodium silicate production to delivery.

We consider the protection of the environment as an integral part of social and corporate sustainability efforts, and we carry our activities in this direction beyond legal obligations.

To this end,

• We comply within all local regulations regarding the environment. We take all relevant precautions to prevent environmental pollution by prioritising enviromental awareness together with a responsibility for the nature and society.
• We are committed to innovating in order to reduce environmental impact while controlling natural resource consumption, and we accept continuous improvement to protect the environment.
• We comply with the environmental criteria on the raw and auxiliary materials used.
• We ensure pollution prevention, waste reduction and maximum recycling.
• We focus on innovating to reduce our environmental impact with regards to resource consumption during production, limiting greenhouse gas emissions and recycling, in order to continuously improve our activities in terms of environmental protection.
• By taking into account deforestation, we take care to protect the surrounding forests and to make land changes so as not to damage the surrounding forests.
• We consider the environment factor in new investments.
• We prioritize and apply environmentally compatible technologies with continuous improvement in our activities.
• We contribute to raisingenvironmental awareness by cooperating with our suppliers and customers, as well as educating all our employees on environmental awareness.
